Hengrui started in a rented factory and, within six years, developed from a small operation into a company with its own manufacturing base.
1994Tianjin Hengrui Plastic Machinery Company was officially established and started production in our first rented factory site.
1995–1998As orders increased, we moved twice to larger sites. These early years helped our team gain manufacturing experience and strengthen their technical capabilities.
2000
We completed our first self-owned factory, giving us a dedicated base for product development and equipment manufacturing. This also marked the start of our shift towards higher-end extrusion equipment.
2010
We expanded the factory again and opened a modern production base, which greatly increased our manufacturing capacity and ability to handle larger orders.
Expanding the size of our factory was only the beginning of our story. Over the years, Hengrui also reached several important technical milestones in plastic sheet and board extrusion machinery.
2001A major breakthrough came with the development of China’s first five-layer co-extrusion line for high-barrier plastic sheet
2002A two-layer PVC board extrusion line with a width of 3200 mm was completed
2002The first PET single-screw extrusion line was delivered. As of 2026, it has remained in stable operation for 24 years
2003Output from the PP sheet extrusion line exceeded 1000 kg/hr
2005The production capacity for the ABS multilayer co-extrusion board line reached 1500 kg/hr, to support large-scale industrial production
2006We successfully manufactured a seven-layer co-extrusion line for high-barrier plastic sheets used in high-end packaging applications
2015New output records were achieved, with the HIPS line reaching 1700 kg/hr and the PP line maintaining stable production at 1500 kg/hr
2015Our high-barrier sheet technology advanced to an eight-layer co-extrusion line
2017A nine-layer co-extrusion line for high-barrier plastic sheet was successfully developed
2017We launched a PC optical sheet extrusion line and entered the optical-grade production market, which requires extremely high surface quality
2024We delivered a PP extrusion line to a client in Mexico. At their request, their own team completed the installation and commissioning, and the extrusion line was put into operation successfully
2025A twin-screw co-extrusion PET line with an output of 1,100 kg/hr was delivered to a in Malaysia.
