Sheet extrusion lines process plastic materials into continuous sheets through melting, extrusion, calendering and cooling. Depending on the material and structure, the finished sheets can be used for food containers, electronic packaging, optical parts and industrial products. Our sheet extrusion lines support both mono-layer and multilayer production, including high-barrier sheets with structures of up to nine layers, and are manufactured with in-house control over the complete production process.
Technical Capabilities
- Multilayer Co-Extrusion: Supports single-layer and 2 to 9-layer co-extrusion to produce sheets with different structures. Hengrui has mature experience especially in the field of mechanical manufacturing of multi-layer high-barrier co-extrusion equipment.
- Multiple Screw Options: Single-screw, parallel twin-screw and planetary roller single-screw extruders are available for processing materials such as PET, PP, PS, PE, PC, ABS, PMMA and etc. supporting stable extrusion under vacuum conditions.
- Precise Thickness Control: The sheet thickness tolerance can be controlled within ±1%, meeting production requirements for accurate sheet dimensions.
Production Range
- Sheet Thickness: From 0.05 mm to 3.6 mm, suitable for applications ranging from thinner optical and packaging sheets to thicker functional products
- Sheet Width: From 310 mm to over 2000 mm, with customized widths available according to die specifications
- Output Capacity: Single-line output ranges from 300 kg/h to 2000 kg/h to meet different production scales
- Material Compatibility: Suitable for processing PET, PP, PS, PE, PC, HIPS and other plastic materials
The configuration of the extrusion lines can be adjusted according to material type, sheet specifications and production requirements. Our team of engineers are ready to help clients with technical recommendations for different processing needs.
